It seems as though one cannot turn on the TV without seeing something about global warming and the dire straits the planet will soon be faced with. Most of the world believes that global warming is going to bring on death and destruction, leaving the planet as a hostile environment that most people will not be able to survive. Whether this is true or not can be left for people decide at another time.
There are some things that can be done to help the planet no matter how one feels about global warming. The global warming solutions that can be done without much effort is for people to try to use less energy. A person should try using less electricity from the grid and consider using solar energy. This helps the planet and the wallet. Once paid for, solar power is free and that leaves more money in the budget for other things.
Something else that can be done as a global warming solution is to drive ones vehicle less. Automobile’s pollute the air and are a major source of greenhouse gasses. People should try taking public transportation or car pooling with other people. Trading in the older gas guzzling model and looking for something that gets better fuel mileage is a good idea, too. There are hybrids that retain much of their power but still get great mileage.

Anything that a person can do that reduces any form of energy is healthy for the planet. This even includes water. Many people don’t think about water as a global warming solution but it is without a doubt a contributing factor in global warming. The water itself isn’t the problem. The problem is in everything it takes to get modern water supplies to each and every home.
Dams are built to provide the water supply and while many dams also are used for electricity, the land downstream may never fully recover from the way it was. People buy boats to play on the water which pollutes the water and the air. Most boat motors release a large amount of pollutants into the air. The water must also be cleaned because of pollution and all of that uses energy. New homes are built around the new lake which creates a larger demand for energy.
The list goes on when it comes to ways people can help with global warming solutions. Many of the problems deal with waste of resources and people need to be better educated about these wasteful practices. Together people can change the world for a better tomorrow, a better tomorrow for generations to come.
